Waiting for weeks for crowns to be made at a lab and later fitted at your local dentist is a thing of the past. Say goodbye to biting on gooey impression material for several minutes, having a numb mouth and maybe even a jaw ache. Don’t put up with a temporary replacement as an interim compromise. And of course save time on dentist appointments.

Digital impressions and computer aided design
Modern dental practices like ours now use a camera that can capture the full set of teeth in seconds by taking what are called digital impressions. The data are then transferred to a computer and from there to an on-site milling machine that shapes the crown or other tooth replacement from a solid block of ceramic. Computer aided design combined with computer aided manufacture ensure both utmost precision of the dental restoration and an unprecedented convenience for the patient.
