What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap placed over a tooth, either to restore its shape, size, and strength or to improve its appearance. You may also need a crown when the integrity of one of your teeth is threatened by a large cavity. With the latest technology, we can custom-make a crown to fit over your entire tooth in just one visit.
What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge is a method used to replace a missing tooth by suspending an artificial tooth between two crowns to fill in the gap. The artificial tooth can be made from porcelain, alloys, or other materials.
What is a veneer?
A veneer is like a dental crown, but much thinner. Instead of covering the whole tooth the waver-thin, tooth coloured shell only covers the front surface, i.e., the part that is visible when you smile. Many veneer procedures can be performed in one visit, but in some cases, we might decide to send the veneers to a master technician for fabrication. Veneers on the front teeth are an excellent way to create the smile you always wanted by restoring chipped, uneven, or discoloured teeth.
